I had recently booked by 2nd AC ticket from Vizag to Vijayawada, however on the day of departure, there was no 2ac coach , instead a 3 ac coach was attached. since, we are family of 4, i am sure, am entitled to difference of fare as refund.. the train tte, had given a receipt for this. However, when i went for refund for this in vijayawada, they refused saying since this is e ticket need to do claim refund thru TDR thru irctc website.
Accordingly, went ahead to book TDR procedure, after 70 days i was refused and was advised on calling irctc to directly send claim to new delhi gm. this can surely...

have been done 70 days back, rather reject the claim and again ask to file physically and not thru irctc website. Else, there should be provision to to attach the TTE slip by attachment while filing TDR to save time and hassle of getting genuine refund.
I request members to guide me on such claims and best way to get refund. Now i have written to tdr helpline, but are not acknowledging my claim sent by speed post.?? any idea, Suggestions?
