The Bilaspur-Mandi-Leh railway is a proposed high-elevation all weather Indian Broad gauge 1,676 mm (5 ft 6 in) railway track that will connect Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, to Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, to Leh, Jammu and Kashmir in Republic of India.
The total expected length of Bilaspur-Mandi-Leh railway is almost 498 km (309 miles). By its completion it is expected to become the highest railway track in the world overtaking the current record of China's Qinghai-Tibet Railway. Railway Budget 2011-2012 presented by Mamata Banerjee announced that this project will be taken up in next Budget 2012-2013. Railway Budget 2012-2013 presented by Dinesh Trivedi announced that the survey of this project is completed and it is currently sent to Planning Commission for appraisal.

new Railway Minster of India, Mukul Roy, some days after Railway Budget 2012-2013 was presented by former minister Dinesh Trivedi announced that he is also pursuing the inclusion of 4 critical projects as national project which includes Bilaspur-Mandi-Leh Railway, Jammu-Poonch, Tanakpur-Bageshwar, Rupai Parshuram Kund lines.
