railway should run daily train from jammu early in the morning may be intercity from jammu to delhi and back
Sir, Even Duronto (fastest on the route) takes 8:45 Hrs. If tat hat speed (may not be feasible in day time), if an Intercity is operated, it would require at least a strech of 18:15 Hrs. (08:45 + 0:45 stay + 08:45). That means that if the thought of intercity starts at 05:30 in the morning, will be able to come back only at 23:45 which may not be a practical timing.

Why not a pair of trains from either end of the route. In the SR, Pallavan Express from Trichy to Chennai returns as Vaigai Express from Chennai to Madurai and vice versa. Similarly earlier the intercity expresses between Bangalore-Coimbatore-Chennai will be get make journeys by change of the train number at Coimbatore.
