Can somebody please explain in what kind of nonsense way is IR reserving seats nowadays?
At 7pm when I checked I was getting something like 100 waiting in Vindhyachal from JBP, however at the same time there were 500+ vacant seats from SHR. In anticipation that ultimately my ticket will confirm, I did make a reservation from JBP, however, after chart preparation the ticket is still waitlisted.
Where did all those 500+ seats go then?
