WCR on the verge of 100% electrification. 99.2% electrified ( 3000km out of 3024km )
Only non electrified section left is Srinagar - Jalindari ( 24km out of 3024km ; 0.79% ).

Yeah. Indeed that's why last time when i went to jabalpur . i saw rake of KTE based alocs on loop line of KTES . They were approx 100+ stacked together.

old diesels , once ruled the et ald strech now lying in uncertainity ! poor souls ,
just thinking how time changes , 10 years ago , if someone would have said that KTE alcos will be lying uselessly in a loopline , people would have laughed , but today ...

Correctly said, These KTE alcos were ruling ALD-ET section and a lot were used in NKJ-SGRL section too. But now both sections electrified, these are out of main line service.
ET-JBP-PRYJ electrfication was the game changer. Humongous route to be electrified.
