KrishMV~ 7493 blog postsstill villupuram-katpadi line is not safe for express trains speed above 50kms.railway officials conducted a inspection on vm-kpd line to increase the speed of the trains between vm-kpd.very soon the trains which are running throgh this line will blast at a speed of 100kmph.for that only they didnt introduced new trains.from october onwards pondy-dadar tri weekly express will be introduced via this line and i hope next financial year vm-kpd line will be added with more trains.
lets hope so, otherwise railway safety inspectors do not usually clear new/GC sections to 100 so soon..An example of GC section between BMO-NZB after 2004, till 2006 it was 60 and 70 respectively, then made 90 and 100 in 2007 and 2009. Now the MPS of the section is 110! took quite long for railways to ascertain the fitness!
