Bus Depot is far away some 2-3kms.

Temple to Danushkodi and back : Rs 700 is fixed rate. If you bargain like me to Rs 600 then, Vibhisena Temple will be compromised or Pilot would irritate and demand to move out quickly.
I would suggest either get one two wheeler on rent or Govt buses are available, which are cheaper & quite safe.

Food : Ganesh Mess or Sri Saravana Bhavan - Lunch you will get South Indian Thali and during Dinner light food only. Do try Thali.
