I The think fact that route through prayagraj is 200 km more than the route through nagpur and raipur, raipur probably may this could reason but that also cannot be said to be true as some trains in india run between 2 cities in 2 different routes and one of them sometimes more than the other

How many of you think trains should take only shortest distance between any 2 cities? Mumbai - kolkata through prayagraj is 2158 km and Mum and kol through nagpur is 1962 km

Whereas the other one chennai - ahmedabad exp does that in 1717 km

One good example of above is chennai - ahmedabad, ahmedabad trains, navjeevan covers it by 1892 km
Whereas the other one chennai - ahmedabad does that in 1717 km
