can any one guide be what should I do to carry my 32 inch LED TV from howrah (my home) to Jamnagar (duty station, Gujarat) by train with me officially.
At the station,book your TV as luggage, get the receipt and carry it with you in the same coach.
Visit the luggage room, pay the requisite and collect the reciept and you can carry it with you in the coach-show the same along with your ticket when the TTE comes for inspection-only when you possess that reciept you can carry electronic goods with you on the train
is there any special rate for booking sophisticated items like TV etc as a luggage, I mean what is normally the criteria for booking charges for the same.
