So finally Dakhineswar is connected by Metro Service. Dakhineswar and Baranagar are now the newest stations of North - South Line of Kolkata Metro. The first Metro from Dakhineswar was flagged off virtually by our Prime Minister - Shri Narendra Modi. Commerical Services will commence from 23/02/2021. First Metro from 7 AM. Here are some shots from today's Inauguration. I had to cut short my TATA trip because of this function. 🙏

Now Dakshineswar becomes one point. Other point being Kavi Subhash (New Garia). Kavi Subhash to Airport work is on. First extension from Kavi Subhash will be till Ruby General - RB Connector.
