For unknown reason Amritsar seems not so popular in TN. Last year one airline cancelled trip. This year again Indigo mentioned starting from March 28. Hope this picks up the momentum as well as yours :)
I don't know how well this train will go , but according to me it is a perfect train to connect Punjab with Tamil Nadu. Plus this is great for tourism. Plus you will surely get 50 flags.
