Journey experience of my recent 02622 TN travel ;
.
Trip - /blog/post/4888125
.
Journey pics/videos will be shared in this post, discussions/talks welcome in this blog post.
...
more...

Summary of 02622 travel :-
.
(1). Cleanliness and Maintenance :-
Same day return by TN, so same rake, neatness was same like before. After maintenance at New Delhi seemed okay. OBHS handled very well during the entire journey.
.
(2). Food and Pantry :-
I bought breakfast as bread-omelette for ₹50, for lunch and dinner you can book inside the train for thali (₹120 for veg) or ready to eat meals by Haldirams (₹130) , I chose e-catering from NGP, was good, they gave the parcel by safety precautions. In dinner, I tried the Eeg Biryani from Warangal platform itself, was very good, with 2nos of eggs, it costs only ₹80.
.
(3). LHB comfort feel :-
Not much jerks, you will not much shaking as it was there during ICF days CBC.
.
(4). TimeTable and Punctuality :-
The TT is very much suitable for original nature if TN, timetable is very good for whole journey. But slight here and there adjustments are needed like slack can be removed from sections.

NOTE - See night departure is changed to 02622 from NDLS at 2105 hrs, so PF3 is getting too much crowded, you will not get to seat to sit before the rake is placed to the platform, because now all south-bound SFs are departed on trott from NDLS, like
02806 AP 2000hrs from PF4.
02626 KL 2010hrs from PF3.
06528 KK 2020hrs from PF6.
02622 TN 2105hrs from PF3.

Here you can see KL and TN uses same PFs for departure, so when KL departs at 2000hrs, TN rake is placed around 2025hrs only, just before the 40mins before the departure, so make sure you see the CC before boarding (same like 12622, HA1 in front)

- NDLS AGC;
It did a great run, departed at 2105hrs, instantly picks speed after Tilak Bridge and goes to upto 100 km/hr at NZM Outer, and skips the NZM at 60 kph, and then picks up to 100-110 km/hr right from Okhla. Then it goes with 110 MPS till the MTJ, (at PWL slowed down to 50 km/hr only).

- AGC BPL;
Since, I fell asleep, so didn't know much, but it maintained the schedule perfectly.

- BPL ET;
What happens is that KK which departed NDLS at 2020hrs, becomes so close ahead to TN from BPL to ET, you will not get much speedy skips, as because after KK arrival and departure at ET, TN is allowed to enter ET.

- ET NGP;
Had a perfect 4hr run here, speedy skips at Amla, Betul etc. , almost would have entered NGP around 1230hrs itself, but slowly made to enter around 1245hrs, daily scene.

- NGP BPQ;
Start is good from Nagpur, but it takes more time in Nagpur Sewagram, about 1hr 18mins for 74 kms, as many track works are going here, near Borkhedi. In Hinghanghat-Tadali it gave good speedy runs, making BPQ arrival with 15 mins before time.

- BPQ WL:
Star run of the trip ! What a thrilling and awesome experience. Just after leaving Balharshah, skips the Wardha River, and just after skipping Manikgarh, after stepping into the SCR, it rampages to 120 km/hr straight away. It constantly goes at 120 km/hr till Ramagundam Outer, as skips RDM around 70-80km/hr only, then back to 120 again till Warangal with almost 35mins before time running. Before entering Warangal, 1 km it does the deceleration of the speed of 120 km/hr to 35 km/hr to 0 km/hr. Really impressed with the run here. The crossing timings were,
BPQ 1630, SKZR 1718, BPA 1747, RDM 1810, PDPL 1823, and then WL only at 1946 - 17mins BT.
It did PDPL - WL , 84kms in 1hr 23mins because of timing and congestion ahead of TN-Godavari-KL-AP-Navjeevan. Easily can be shifted to 1915/1917 at WL.

- WL BZA;
It had a good gap with Godavari at Warangal, then slowly near as usual near Khammam, the crawling starts, both ran back to back till BZA. WL BZA section is getting very congested in night, badly need the additional lines.

- BZA MAS;
I slept at Madhira itself and woke up around Ponneri at 0501 around 30+ minutes before time running. Since, 02604 HYB MAS was running ahead, it was all made to crawl behind it , by reaching at MAS around 0605 only.

--------------------------------------------------------
Conclusion :-

TT is perfect, as compared to 02621. 02621 needs many changes to TT and 02622 need just minor changes. Simply, 02621 slot is bit stretched 2200 - 0740 , 02622 slot is shifted almost 1hr before 2105 - 0615.
For 02622, many slacks needed to be trimmed with this current MPS only,

NDLS - 2105
AGC - 2328/2330
GWL - 0113/0115
JHS - 0245/0255
BPL - 0650/0655

These halts timings are good, should remain same.

ET - 0835/0845

Itarsi timing can be shifted to 0825/0835.

NGP - 1305/1310

Nagpur should be shifted to 1235/1240, atleast 4hrs run is sufficient for 110 MPS.

BPQ - 1625/1630

Balharshah timing should be shifted to 1545/1550, 3hrs run sufficient here.

WL - 2003/2005

Since, officialy SCR said that w.e.f 28.05.2021, Warangal timing is shifted to 1938/1940.

BZA - 2320/2330

Since, Warangal timing going to shift, Vijayawada timings also should be advanced to 2255/2305, instantly after the arrival of Godavari at 2250.

MAS - 0615

Chennai Central should definitely be shifted to 0515,
can come 15mins behind Navjeevan and just 30 minutes before the arrival time 02604 HYB MAS at 0545.

If this done , TT looks like;

NDLS - 2105
AGC - 2328/2330
GWL - 0113/0115
JHS - 0245/0255
BPL - 0650/0655
ET - 0825/0835
NGP - 1235/1240
BPQ - 1545/1550
WL - 1938/1940
BZA - 2255/2305
MAS - 0515

In future when 130 is granted in NDLS ET, we can think/talk about that TT later
