I want to know about Howrah junction,that is it really that this station is shared by two zones ER and SER.(There are currently 23 platforms in Howrah Station (1-15 for Eastern Railway; 16-23 for South Eastern Railway) sources:wikipedia) Do they have two separate station masters at all time.The announcement and display are controlled separately?

HWH station owned by ER. It have only one announcement system from a single control room.
Correct sir. PF 1 to 16 belong to ER but 17 to 23 are for SER. Wkipedia is wrong.
Platform no 1-15 belongs to ER & PF 17-23 belongs to SER. Pf 16 is used for Military/Army purposes.
