Change of BP is allowed before 24 hrs of scheduled departure of train.. the ticket category for which it is permitted is:
1. Confirmed ONLY
2. Confirmed & RAC
3. Confirmed /RAC/WL

I guess PRS ticket, boarding point change can be done only at the station of Booking and not anywhere else.. But in case of E tickets, it can b done anywhere
any ticket... anywhere. but better do it at station where booked from.
Afaik PRS ticket BP can be changed anywhere.Doesnt depend on booking place.

In hitech city station (hyderabad), they allow BP change for only CNF/RAC. Members from Hyderabad/Secunderabad kindly share the PRS locations where WL BP can be changed.
