No increment in no. of coaches of trains according to extension of platform length.
IMO, YNRK is having high foot fall due to Kumbh Mela. After that I dont think it would get much passengers. It would be same like RKSH. The reason is that people prefer HW over Rishikesh. It would get pax on either side acc to passengers choice.

What is the main reason for cancelling so many trains from Dehradun?
IR has transferred majority of trains originating from DDN to YNRK. However this transfer has meant that despite being a state capital DDN lost direct connectivity to all Southern states, Mumbai, MP, and Punjab. Reasons best known to IR. This happened despite a big revamp of the station in 2019-20.
Now Madurai/Chennai has no direct connectivity to YNRK also. Only south connectivity from YNRK is YNRK-Kochuveli SF Exp. Wish IR would re-establish the DDN Connectivity soon.
