CR's (formerly) AC-DC locos may soon venture beyond sections served by the zone's crews.
Loco pilots in neighbouring zones are being trained to operate WCAxx class locos to utilize the 73 strong fleet better and reduce detention of WCAxx hauled trains at interchange points.

Central_Railway hoped to dedicate WCAM-3, WCAM-2P and WCAG-1 classes for banking duties on ghat sections, freeing 40+ WAG-7s for other traffic.
But since WCAxx cannot work as triple-unit sets needed to push freight trains uphill, they will continue to haul trains as usual.

when will this happen xD .. it was heard long time back that PUNE DLS will home WCAM series but it is still with KYN ELS. Even Daund ELS is under construction since long .. Waiting to see more KYN WAP7 :D
