for all those people who have not borne the brunt of Mumbai locals here's an experience of mine. a few months back I had boarded the 9.21 cst bound fast local from dombivali. already the train was filled to its capacity but since I was in a hurry to reach college, I had no options but to board it. I somehow managed to board it before it stopped completely stopped.. an exodus of people literally pressed like a sugarcane crusher. so great was the pressure that a calculator and a writing pad in my bag broke in to two. the agony didn't end there. a man unknowingly put his foot over mine and crushed my toe. tears welled up in my eyes but I had no options but to stand still. when I got down at ghatkopar my thumb of right leg was filled with...
