There is a huge passenger coaches shortage in SER, be it SL, AC, GS Coaches or even EMU, MEMU Coaches. But still SER is not at all receiving new coaches from ICF, RCF, MCF. Between 1st Jan 2021 till date 1st May 2021 following coaches are received by SER :
1. ICF - 0 Coaches
2. RCF - 41 ( LVPHX - goods carrying ), 4 ( LSLRD)

I am talking about from 1st jan 2021 till 1st may 2021, during this period SER received only 17 coaches out of this 166 coaches from MCF. Please check
Moreover, these coaches from MCF are for the Magadh and other HTE based trains which are converted from ICF to LHB, which was already as per RB and SER conversion plan 2020-21. For these 166 coaches, SER had already scrapped 110 coaches till December 2020. Out of the remaining coaches, around 30 coaches got scrapped now as per RB order came in 2021 about cordial life of ICF Coaches. Remaining coaches are distributed between HTE, SRC, TATA CDO.
