The Southern Red Beauty in a new avatar. Arakkonam (AJJ) WAP 4 # 22618 proudly shows off it's magnified thunderbolts ⚡while taking a nap at Chitpur. This locomotive happens to be on of those very few WAP 4s of SR which have been homed by all 3 electric locomotive sheds of SR i.e. Royapuram, Erode & Arakkonam.

I really like wap 4 of Ed,RPM and (,now in Ajj .they are the real workhorse of IR and ED used to maintain them well as I rarely saw loco failure in ED maintained locos
