Halt at Tirupathi is a lengthier one for the second train which has automatically given more transfer time here. Still AJJ is better option as even local trains run till AJJ which helps in worst case.

True.But chain gets created only if two trains ,with their numbers are selected.
No provision for using local trains,as of now,for creation of chains,I guess.
