In the early Part of 2020, before Covid hit us with full force, I went on a trip to Thoothukudi on some work. The only daily train that connected Bengaluru & Thoothukudi is the 16236 Mysuru - Thoothukudi Express. Of course, I boarded it on a Saturday, so I also had the option of an end to end Diesel hauled journey on board the Vivek Express from Okha.
But, due to some personal commitments, I could only take the Mysuru Express. It came from Mysuru hauled by twin ALCos from Erode....
