North East Karnataka, also known as Esanya Karnataka or Hyderabad Karnataka, used to be a place with no train lines in the middle, but only surrounded by main lines to the east and south. Now, there are two projects running in parallel and diagonally, connecting those trunk lines and dividing the region into three parts. If we add one more project, Ballari Siriguppa Sindhanur Lingasugur Bijapur, it will complete the rail network in NEK and provide train connectivity to the underdeveloped areas. Hopefully, it becomes a reality soon.
