We, citizens of Aurangabad also pushing for this line. Similar reply was sent to us by CR in past.
However, upon seeing unnecessary delay created by CR in this project (transport lobby), we requested former CM Mr. Fadanvis for the approval of this line. He agreed and issued letter to Rly ministry that state govt will share 50% cost of project.
With this letter, we approached MRIDC to resurvey the line and submit the DPR for the same. Accordingly, MRIDC did complete survey and prepared the DPR and put it for the approval...

Completely Agreed with you Swanand Sir .... This Railway line can see day of light only if it's taken under Participative Model with MRIDC being executing agency .... Railways won't construct New Railway Lines hence forth .... Please take it up with Dr. Bhagwat Karad Sir next month in his upcoming meeting for Marathwada specific Railway Projects in Aurangabad
Yes Dewang ji. We (Marathwada Railway Kruti Samiti) are already on it. The issue is taken up at multiple level. We are now following up with state govt also. Hope to get approval soon. Meanwhile, if possible please followup from ur side also.
I think this line may not be approved since Aurangabad _ Ahmednagar line is taking shape.
