Avoid unnecessary detention of train
Two trains leaving Kasaragod station (in Palakkad division,Southern railway) towards north at the same time.
02617 Mangala Lakshadweep spl Express & 06323 Coimbatore - Mangalore Central covid spl express -- both departs KGQ at 5.35 pm.
The latter train is being detained at Chrvathur for 30 minutes without any reason. Just 8.5 km and running time from Trikarpur...

to Charvathur is shown as 38 min whereas it can very well cover this distance.in less than 8 min. Today the train reached Charvathur at 16.25 and left at 16.45 only because that is the scheduled departure time. There are no other crossing trains during this time. Then why this detention?
I request the authorities in Southern Railway to do away with unnecessary detention of this train so that this train reach the destination half an hour earlier and there by avoid the clash of time at Kasaragod railway station also.
