Many remember that today is the 7th International Day of Yoga but I have another fact too.. Today is the longest day of the year. The duration of the sun in the sky is the maximum on 21st June. Isn't it an interesting fact?

One more thing, I read during childhood, day time and night time have equal duration!!!

Today the tropic of cancer lies closest to the sun, it is the longest day of the year for the northern hemisphere.
Similarly, 22nd December is the longest day for the southern hemisphere.
