Already this train struggles to get full occupancy during off seasons and week days.
Now major stations in Kerala are passed through in dawn. This may further affect the occupancy.
I remember when this train was running as special a decade back, the arrival train was same around 7.30 AM in Mangalore. But not even once it was able to reach on time. Back then it was a diesel pulled action between SRR and MAQ.
