Same happens in vindhyachal
When you check from shr there is usually 300+ availability (sgo quota), but when you switch to jbp, there's nothing. In fact presuming confirmation once I did even book a ticket from jbp, which went waitlisted. Seems ir itself wants to run empty trains

Jab train bilaspur se chal degi tab Anuppur k quota me aayegi bachi hui seat
U will get heache when u see 3 qoutas parallely within 3 hrs of second chart of source stns

Chart denewala hoto na samwctime annuour ka bhi nikaldete honge 8pm ke andar so second chart open hi nai hoto hongi
Agree with you this happened once When I was travelling from Satna to Bijuri rewa chirmiri passenger , 60 + seats had come from Rewa, I thought current seat would come from Satna too but didn't come, then I got a ticket from TT by taking a general ticket.
