Recently some news items were published in a few Telugu and English dailies that there is a proposal for extending the Visakhapatnam bound trains to Bhubaneswar by East Coast Railway authorities. This is leading to confusion among the public.

It is clarified that there is no such motive at any level for the extension of Godavari express, Visakhapatnam-LTT express trains. The reason for cancellation of Visakhapatnam-LTT express is due to safety works in Solapur Division of Central Railway.
