socho ye accident agar ckp me hota tata ke jagah tab adra wala route via bacha nahi pata. pura hwh cstm route cripple ho jata.
No strict action can solve this. Unions have been pledging before the board to reduce goods shunting and passing goods traffic. Case studies of point bursts, loop derailments and shunting failures are common. Now the mainlines are compromised too. Staffs are overworking to manage over utilised wagons, a threat to their life. Board is blindly forcing SER and other freight centric zones to increase loading statistics and revenue on it's existing overburdened network. EWDFC is still far fetched dream to come true.
In last 2 to 3 years accidents have increased many times in IR, but thank GOD almost 90%of these r happening with Freight trains. And govt is ignoring these all through years and presenting before media their GOOD Report card. But reality is not that good. If this would have been with passenger trains then?
Increasing sectional speeds to 130 kmph, 160 kmph but RB not listening to zonal railway and its workers and compromising the safety just to get some STARS on their shoulders is something very risky happening. If someday something big happens then RB and RM will be 100% responsible for that. But i pray to god that doesn't happen and hope new RM will think...
