It has 8 Platforms...for no use..
Don't know why they use single platform ( PF2) for all south bound trains..if any train occupied PF the other train has to wait at outer till it gets cleared..we see this in small stations.. being one of the important station on the section this type of controlling is not acceptable..
I have been observing this many times..small stations with 3 to 5 platforms can manage better than this station
That's why few months ago some trains were proposed to skip Nagpur in coming future.
They does more late if train is from Raipur side.

Big example:- Big City Surat with 4 platforms handling 400+ trains.
Any station can do better than this station..this is beyond worst..
