Why railway can't build higher bridge there? Ask asking for knowledge
This bridge is constructed between Palk strait and bay of Bengal .Due to sea near by ,wind velocity is high even during normal time .So train has PSR of 15 KMH and bridge length is 2035 metres.more over this area is prone to cyclon.
During cyclone& rough weather ,it can go up to 80 to 100 kmh
This heavy cross wind. Can topple the train which has just contact friction with Rails only .
