Good news for Aurangabd -Ahmednagar Railway line.

As per latest reports the proposed new railway line from Aurangabad to Ahmednagar has gathered momentum.The Collector of Aurangabad has written a letter to Railway Minister to speed up the process of making this a reality.A meeting between MoS Finance and MoS Railways ( Mr.Bhagwat Karad and Mr.Rao Saheb Danve) has take place on this matter.

survey was undertaken in the month of March 2021 for 4 days and the report has been submitted to the Railway board.The Railways will not take responsibility of bearing the entire cost.Maharashtra Govt has to share the cost and even the MIDCs of Aurangabad, Jalna and Ahmednagar are ready to to bear some costs.

The MPs of Aurangabad, Ahmednagar South,and Jalna are all meeting the Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on August 4, 2021.

Once the line is complete, the next phase could be joining the existing line to the Pune -Nashik Line.This move will give connectivity to Nashik as well as Pune from Nagar.

This will also help in Joining Ahmednagar with Kalyan in the future.Presently Kalyan - Murbad is in the pink book.

Under the leadership of both these Ministers, the Aurangabad _ Pune line should become a reality.
