NGP-ASR: 808 Berth. 2A 45%, 3A 55%. 3A adds 12 berth ex NDLS. No major DIP at 1A/2A ex NDLS. E2E Occupancy quite stable.
Kalka Mail: 254 AC Berth. 35 Berth reduced ex NDLS (153 to 118)
Combine AC Capacity: 808+254=1162. Occupancy: NGP AC ex NDLS 493. Kalka Mail ex SNP 185. Occupancy: 678/1162=58% a day.
This Occupancy will dip with increase in AC...

When inaugurated this sealdah duronto was biweekly only; used to cover the distance in 16 h 20 min. At a time when premium service is in direct competition with flights, run time increased by 1h 40 minutes. Again should be made biweekly with short termination at ndls; at least some operational cost/resources would be saved(traction/power/crew/track usage etc)
And Rake also!! SDAH-NDLS: 1 Rake for Bi/Tri Weekly, 2 Rake for 4 days/Week. SDAH-BKN: 3 Rakes for 4 Days a week
Akal Takht/Durgiana are running full!! But best train to ascertain HWH-ASR/JAT AC Check is SDAH-JAT HS which isnt correctly running now.
SDAH-NDLS DRNTO frequency extension was result of huge occupancy in HWH/SDAH Raj which always have max E2E Occupancy!! So even if SDAH Duronto runs with 50-60% in lean period in NDLS-SDAH is upto mark!!

Another blunder done by IR. Extension of this train was totally reckless and senseless. Seeing people justifying this act I feel helpless for such mentality. They are not RFs but lollypop seekers!!
