This means that MSL written on yellow station boards is not realistically or practically adding to the safety of trains in any way. Ultimately, it's a good piece of info which is a remnant of British times. It's fine.

My main concern is with the quality of such ad-filler articles, fed by Google search, which are flooding the internet these days. Especially, one needs to be careful of Google News. Once they know you are interested in certain topics, your Google News will be 100% full of meaningless junk.
