iss train mein kuch zyada hi sleeper coaches hai
ab samay aagaya hai ki ER bhi rake standardilized karna shuru kare !

Luggage bahut tha as permanently shifting tha 2 mins halt of padatik created problem
(thats papa's reason)
My reasons were simple that it gets e-loco from ncb ,Saraighat coaches are new ,saraighat is faster than padatik
Also I wanted to de-board at HWH jn !

NJP-HWH: AC class distribution only among Padatik & Darjeeling as they both high in AC Count. HWH-NJP: Saraighat is odd with no Overnight offer for that stretch & hence most crowd switch to Darjeeling & Padatik!!
Further..it didn't started with AC Coach addition but 3E for which there seems no reason at the moment!!

Chart Analysis is of pandemic and discussion is happening in Pandemic when Patronage is less and train's usually struggle to fill up!!
It has to get AC Coach is something which depends on future but priority for 3E shall be imposed in trains with heavy WL in 3A especially overnights (where you just get in and sleep) as you never know how day traveler may react in limited space coach with more or less same fare!!

Also Passengers of North Bengal has conventionally preferred trains like Uttarbanga Express, Teesta Torsha Express . Padatik came much later offering much AC services.
Saraighat has gained huge popularity in this region (from NCB to MLDT) with its superb run , punctuality. For NBQ, GHY it was always No 1 option.
Kamrup has been stable option serving all small stations even in the hinterlands
