This Duronto is one of India's fastest non-A.C. Duronto with an astonishing average speed of 84 km/hr (the return train has average speed of 85 km/hr), and uses Hybrid LHB rakes, which are fit for MPS of 120 km/hr.
The train uses the Howrah- Burdwan- Asansol- Dhanbad- Gaya- Mughal Sarai- Allahabad- Kanpur- New Delhi route of ER/ ECR/ NCR/ NR.
