is this train punctual? how often NR cancel this train?

okay! thanks for the info. I tracked previous history where NR cancels both the trains.
Shan-e-Punjab is heavily crowded since it is the first departure of the day towards Amritsar side.
It gets good patronage since it is a pretty old and known train.
The Pathankot express is comparatively lesser crowded and is a small rake.
Since you are travelling next week, no issues with rescheduling (this only happens in fog months of Dec-Jan). Both get same priority.

Next week ka koi issue nahi hai, it will run as expected. Shaan-E-Punjab remains relatively crowded due to more halts, and punctually is never an issue for both of them in October.
