Golden Rock WDP3 #15502 at Sengottai with the 12:00 "Passenger" to Madurai Jn.
There is still evidence of the former Metre Gauge tracks, although now disused. The line to Kollam (Quillon) is still closed between here and Punalur for gauge conversion, the challenging mountainous stretch (the Western Ghats are visible in the background) being left until last.
