Finally Donakonda - Kurichedu 12 KMS double line opened in the part of GNT - GTL Doubling.Of the 401 KMS of doubling route, 92 KMS of doubling has been completed so far.There is still 309 km to be doubled.It aims to complete (𝐊𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃𝐔 - 𝐆𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐋𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐌𝐌𝐀 𝟏𝟏 𝐊𝐌𝐒, 𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐔𝐏𝐀𝐃𝐔 - 𝐆𝐀𝐉𝐉𝐄𝐋𝐀𝐊𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐀 𝟐𝟓 𝐊𝐌𝐒) 36 of doubling by 2022 March.

Guntur to Nandyal section should be given more preference. Nandyal Yerraguntla section should be utilised properly. Guntur to Tirupati or Tiruchanur Inter city exp and Overnight Exp should be started as soon as possible
