KMRCL has fast tracked Metro RaiI corridor construction in KoIkata.
1) CCU-NEWG(Airport-New Garia) 29.9 kms Metro corridor has its work finished from NEWG to SCC(Science City) part, work fast tracked in CCU-NTR(Newtown-Rajarhat) part. 2) SSV-HWHM(East West) 16.9 kms Metro corridor has its work finished from SSV-SDAH & expected 2 start up tiII SDAH after DiwaIi. 3) JOKA-ESPD(Esplanade-DharamtaIa) 17.5 kms Metro corridor is nearing completion in JOKA-KIRP part. 4) DKAE-TLG(North-South) 32.4 kms Metro corridor is FuIIy operational. 5. DDJ-CCU-BT(Dumdum-Barasat) 16.9 kms Metro corridor has its work fast tracked. Total Operational Length of KMRCL wiII become 113.60 kms, excluding BARN-BP Metro Corridor.
