Sunrise at Nilambur Road. Ernakulam's WDM3A #14127 waits for the crossing to clear as it runs round the rake of train #16349, the 22:30 Trivandrum Central - Nilambur Road "Rajya Rani Express". It then shunted it into the adjacent sidings and was shut down, not required again until the return working at 20:40 later that evening. This is the only "Express" to Nilambur Road and is a 7-coach portion of the Trivandrum - Palakkad Town "Amrita Express", attached/detached at Shoranur Jn.
This was a lovely line through teak...
