thermal efficiency of 4 stroke engine is more therefore the complete utilization of fuel takes place but power generation is lesser as compared to 2stroke engine. in 2 stroke engine power is more by 1.7 times as compared to 4 stroke engine, 2 stroke engine generate more mechanical power but fuel consumption is high due to incomplete combustion.
