In MMCT - ADI, we have 6 days a week Double Decker and 4 days a week Tejas running in the reverse Shatabdi timing.
Between NDLS - CDG, we have 3 Shatabdi and 1 Jan Shatabdi.
Between NDLS - CDG, we have 3 Shatabdi and 1 Jan Shatabdi.
CDG got 3 Shatabdi not 2!! VB so far is less stoppage train as compared to Shatabdi but will replace Shatabdi Rake in future the way Tejas Rake is doing for Rajdhani!!
Shatabdi with less TAT need quick turnaround which will be easy by VB single unit rake, to show Pit Lines at SM Stations without need of tedious & repetitive LR!!
It will be no surprise to find Single Unit Non AC VB Rake to replace JS/ICE in future!!

We already have high speed non-AC trainsets like 3PH MEMUs which can cruise @130 kmph. Our focus should be to form high speed mixed type modular trainsets. It will significantly reduce operating cost and remove typical IR's technical bottlenecks.
