Friends - If I book a ticket between ADI and KJM in 2A will I get a general waitlist or a RLGN/PQ? I notice in the past PNRs that one of them showed RLGN and another showed PQ. I also noted that a ticket between ADI and BWT (Bangarpet) was in General WL. So, I think it may be wise to book the ticket up to BWT.
Please suggest. The holiday rush is driving me crazy :(

Jab aap ticket book kare to VG se BWT tak search kare fir 2 page me boarding point aayega usko VG se ADI kar ke book kare .......... to vo ticket ADI se valid hoga ..... or aapko GN qouta bhi mil jayega
So, I booked the tickets from VG-BWT (boarding at Surat) in 2A. I decided to board at Surat because I am taking a night train from Jalor (JOR) that reaches ADI in the morning around 4, which would be too early with kids. The train reaches Surat around 8.
It was interesting that there were only 4 seats available between VG and BWT but 10 between ADI-KJM and 8 between ST-KJM (see attached). I was very inclined to try for the ST-KJM but getting into RLGN was a big risk that I wanted to avoid. Thankfully, I got confirmed seats on the VG-BWT and sure enough, all other sections got filled-up soon after.
