Even the DRM of the relevant region will struggle to find the answer to this :p
Why is a DEMU even running when whole route is electrified?? Why not run MEMU?
If I am not wrong
When KUR divn of ECoR got electrified then even DMU trains used to haul with VSKP WAM4s
After longer time only recently converted to MEMU

Vskp DEMU are run with Vskp WAM4 now may be changed to WAP4 MEMu are not alloted and there is no shed of MEMU at Vskp.
