Here's a solution to ease rail traffic congestion on Pune Station, especially trains coming from south.
How about proposing a new rail line between LONI and ALN, so that train coming from MRJ going towards DD can opt this line and have loco change at LONI, similarly trains coming from DD going towards MRJ can opt this line, avoiding going to Pune, hence saving the time and money. We can say LONI station can be developed in similar to YPR station of Bangalore or even KCG of Hyderabad, KYN...

Arey vijay bahu, i didnt started the comparison with DVD/VSKP. i started it in positive way with comparing against YPR/SBC, KCG/HYD/SC.

Got it, maybe PUNE can also follow the example of SC, trains which dont have base maintenance at SC such as Gautami Exp, Narayanadri Exp are taken away from the station upon arrival and are parked as far as in lingampalli or shankarpalli some 30 kms away from SC till evening. This way No protests or issues from SC people that the train is being extended/diverted/taken away or whatever and trouble with space is also avoided.. The heights of parking at a different place include NZM Duronto parked at KZJ some 130 kms away..
Maybe Loni,Hadapsar or Khakdi can be made into a yard to accomodate trains arriving from either sides of pune, rake can be moved from pune upon arrival and...

Yes this is good option, for the trains originating and terminating at PUNE.
