Already present Ranchi Shatabdi is struggling with patronage, how can you expect VB with double the capacity and 40% higher fare to sustain in this route? Except for HWH-BSB, HWH-NJP and HWH-PNBE,PURI(proper timing) no other route in Eastern India is capable to fill a 16 coach VB to even 50% occupancy.
** HWH-RNC/PURI Chaircar VBS are likely to a traffic of garner traffic of 8 coaches,
** HWH-Puri Sleeper VB for 8/12 coaches,
** HWH-CSTM/MAS Sleeper VBs may get respectable traffic for standard 16 coaches MA
** HWH-Puri Sleeper VB for 8/12 coaches,
** HWH-CSTM/MAS Sleeper VBs may get respectable traffic for standard 16 coaches MA
** Going by the past experience of Shatabdies operated from HWH (rake length, patronage), probably none of ac chaircar routes from HWH can give full patronage to 16 coached VB train.
** However, HWH-NDLS/CSTM/MAS/SBC/PURI etc routes can give patronage to 16 coached VB with sleeper coaches

Report says 160kmph trains HWH-Puri shall do 502 kms in 4 hrs, HWH-Mumbai 1965 in 14 hrs & HWH-MAS 1652 kms in just 13 hrs. Keeping in view the curves and gradients, such high avg speeds appear to be too high.
