Railways suffered loses since LATE MARCH 2020 when INCOME (TRAINS) stopped and they still had to pay Salaries to their staff. So Recovery had to happen from somewhere. Good that this didn't came from tax payer money.
strange, as there was less work, salaries should have been reduced too, isn't it?
When fare is hiked, Railways collect it on board.
Why not refunding now? That's a bit strange.
