Presently From and To destination boards are removed, Only 'GODAVARI EXPRESS' is available on majority of coaches. Earlier it is used to display the Hyderabad , Visakhapatnam'. Is it UNIQUE for this express?, because it is very famous train , so people need not to know it.
The electronic boards usually display from and to and also VIA too.
The rakes are getting painted with advt frequently and that could be the reason. It isn't unique and depends on the then painted day.
Also, FAMOUS is not at all a parameter to remove origin and destination.

we have electronic boards in eastern railways too, but the majority display "welcome to indian railways" or are out of order. Especially the electronic display board on coaches of emu are sheer waste...
I have seen "welcome to indian railways" only after the train reaches the destination. Most of the boards work well in SCR(highly generelized stmt).
