Today was a bad experience, I would also like the people to comment how to handle this situation. I was booked by delhi Mumbai Rajdhani on 27th Aug, 2012. While coming to newdelhi station by metro train I alighted there at 4:10 pm my purse was pickpocketed which contained my money, photo ID and credit card for which I duly told the metro customer care who told that you shall have to go to kashmere gate metro police stn for registering your complaint. As there were hardly 20 min for the departure of rajdhani exp. I went to the platform and told the TTE for coach ac 3 tier, B7 my plight and requested him to let me board the train ( I knew as per rules I am not allowed) I further told that I might not be able to pay as all money has gone. Atleast this much tt can adjust , if he can receive scanned id on mobile ...
nahi yaar , i know that id is necessary ... But then in these circumstnces mobile proof is also good...
all depends on the tte mood.....on 24th when i was travelling in nzm-bdts GR....tte was not checking the id....i saw ppl showing both printout and id...he was just checking the printouts.....and verifying the names from the chart..!!!
The rule for E-ticket is that "without ID you will be treated as TICKETLESS passenger" or else the passenger could have shown the SMS and paid the ticket charges with the TTE but in this case he has no money also.
Yes , may be he thought he could earn money ,,, humanity has gone out of world...
